The Environment and Public Policy Section (EPP) of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) is seeking members interested in serving on the Leadership Council for two-year terms beginning in January 2025.
The EPP Leadership Council serves its members through the efforts of dedicated individuals. Volunteering on the Leadership Council is a great opportunity to make a difference in the section and in the field of environmental and public policy dispute resolution! We welcome people who are new to the field, as this would be a great professional development opportunity.
Join a skillful and action-oriented team. Leadership Council members enjoy a variety of benefits from serving the EPP section:
Building close connections with other conflict resolution professionals that serve on the LC;
Opportunities for increased networking among members of the ACR;
Build your leadership abilities in a supportive environment.
A few more words about who we are:
We envision a just society capable of solving its most complex environmental and public policy issues in an inclusive and equitable manner. The ACR EPP’s role in this is to strengthen our community of conflict and collaboration practitioners who are culturally diverse and are supporting communities to make informed decisions about their future.
Our values are people centered, based in sharing information, empowering our citizenry, and using multi-disciplinary approaches to resolve conflict constructively.
The application is available here.
